About Us
Founded in 2015, KizCode is an award winning social enterprise that aims to empower girls and young women from minority groups, immigrants, and disadvantaged communities by helping them gain on demand technology skills such as science, physics, mathematics, coding, robotics through workshops, online classes, mentorship programs, and open sourced education materials. Between 2016 and 2021, Mujde Esin and her small team of passionate and committed volunteers reached 6000 girls and young women in Turkey and England through workshops delivered in places with deep-seated social and economic challenges.

I was only 13 years old when I attended KizCode's workshops. KızCode showed me that I was talented and interested in technology and science which has influenced my professional career. KizCode inspired me to pursue every opportunity and improve myself.

First of all, Kızcode means family to me. Everybody in the KizCode family helps each other without expecting anything in return. I think this makes it something much bigger than just an organization. My life changed thanks to KizCode.

KizCode plays a big role in the development of my self-confidence. My first KizCode workshop is an unforgettable experience for me. I had the opportunity to get to know myself and discover my passion for technology.
